Online Training for Youth Athletes - All Sports (Ages 11–18)

The BSA HIGH Performance Sports Education Program is an online, year-round performance and mindset coaching program for youth athletes aged 11–18. Built by BSA, a trusted name in youth soccer and sports development in Basel, and our Program Director and International Educator Jeff Rea,  this program is open to athletes in all sports who want to take their game—and their life skills—to the next level.

Through expert-led training in mental performance, recovery, nutrition, leadership and more, student-athletes build the habits, focus, and confidence to thrive in sport, school, and everyday life.

What Makes This Program Unique?

Unlike sport-specific skills training, this program focuses on the off-field pillars of High Performance—what truly separates good athletes from great ones.

Athletes will learn:

  • Sport Psychology & Mental Resilience – techniques to stay calm, focused, and confident
  • Nutrition & Recovery – how to fuel, sleep, and recover like a high-level athlete
  • Strength & Conditioning Basics – injury prevention, mobility, and functional training
  • Time Management & Academic Balance – how to manage school and training without burnout
  • Leadership & Team Dynamics – becoming a better teammate, communicator, and leader

These areas are critical for long-term development and too often overlooked in traditional youth sports environments.

How it works

Interactive 1-hour development sessions, every other week, hosted online with our experts focused on practical instruction and discussion.

Short 1-on-1 chats or message-based check-ins every other week to address specific challenges, review progress, and offer individualized support.

Structured into progressive units with tasks, reflections, and personalized feedback. Units include:

  • Training & Conditioning Programming
  • Nutrient Timing & Delivery
  • Sport Psychology
  • Leadership & Team Dynamics

Consistency is key:  The program spans the entire school year, ensuring structured progress and long-term growth.

Spaces are limited:  Only serious, motivated players will be invited to participate following a short application process.

Meet Jeff Rea – Program Director

Jeff Rea is an international educator and youth performance coach with over 25 years of experience helping student-athletes reach their potential—on and off the field. He is co-founder and leads the design and delivery of the HIGH Performance Sports Education curriculum and supports every group through ongoing mentorship and guidance.
