Holiday camp FAQs
What ages are the camps for?
All children from 5 to 15 years old can join our camps.
Please note: children who are slightly younger or older may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@bsasoccer.ch for guidance.
Can beginners join?
Yes, absolutely. Our camps are open to children of all levels, including beginners.
How are the groups organised?
We do our best to organise the children by age and level, so everyone can enjoy the camp and get the most out of the experience.
Can I book single days?
Yes, single-day bookings are available for most camps, depending on availability. You can also mix full days and half days to suit your schedule.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is included for full-day participants. Half-day participants only need to bring some snacks.
Please note that our Winter Camps are usually held indoors and lunch is not normally included.
What happens if it rains, gets cold or is very hot?
We run our camps in most weather conditions and only cancel if it is unsafe. If it rains, we usually wait in a nearby covered area and return to the field as soon as it is safe to play again.
On colder days, children should wear warm layers so they can stay comfortable. Thermal base layers, gloves, a beanie, a scarf and two pairs of socks can help a lot. A warm drink can also be useful between activities.
On very hot days, we take extra care. We use shaded areas for breaks, give the children water breaks more often and adjust the rhythm of the day when needed. We may reduce the intensity during the hottest part of the afternoon, extend the morning football block slightly, or spend a little longer indoors after lunch so children can cool down properly.
Our goal is always to keep the children safe, comfortable and active, while still making sure they enjoy their football in all kinds of weather.
