Questions from parents

Soccer course FAQs

What ages are the group soccer courses for?

Our group courses are mainly for children and teens ages 5–15. Players are grouped by age and ability whenever possible. Slightly younger or older children may also be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Are the courses suitable for beginners?

Yes. Our sessions are designed for different levels, from children who are new to football to players who already train regularly and want extra practice.

Are the sessions in English or German?

Our courses are mainly run in English, but our experienced and multilingual coaches can also support children in German whenever needed. And of course, football has its own language too, so children quickly feel comfortable on the pitch, even if they do not speak perfect English yet.

Can my child try one session first?

Yes. You can book a free trial session before deciding whether to continue with the course.

When do your kids’ soccer courses run in Basel?

Yes. We run Spring, Fall and Winter soccer courses. Only seasons with open registration are shown in the course section.

What should my child bring?

Please bring football-appropriate shoes, shin guards, a water bottle and weather-appropriate sports clothing.

Not sure which course is right?

Send us a message and we’ll help you choose the best option based on your child’s age, level and schedule.
