Terms and Conditions of BSA Soccer Academy
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in any courses, camps, or events organized by BSA Soccer Academy (BSA). By registering for our programs, you agree to these terms, which apply immediately upon registration, including pitch side sign-ups.
Registration and Payment
General Requirements:
– All registrations must be completed with full payment of the applicable course, camp, or event fee.
– It is the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians to read and understand these terms before registering.
Family Discounts:
– Discounts for multiple participants are available only to direct family members (defined as parents, children, and siblings living in the same household). Misrepresentation in family discounts will result in a supplementary fee to rectify the discount applied.
Online Booking:
– Courses and camps must be booked online via our official website to secure a spot at the discounted online rate.
– Ensure timely booking before the closure of online registrations as indicated on the specific course or camp page. BSA is not liable for inability to book due to technical issues or late attempts to register.
– Late registrations or pitch side registrations will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges as specified on the course or camp page.
Payment Terms
Non-Payment Consequences:
– If payment is not completed within specified deadlines, reminder notices will be sent. Continued failure to pay may result in late fees and eventual legal action through the Office des Poursuites to recover owed amounts.
– Specific deadlines and penalties for courses, camps, and other services like birthday parties are detailed on our website and in registration communications.
Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellation by Participant:
– Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 28 days before the start date, minus a CHF 20 administrative fee.
– Partial refunds and administrative fees vary by the timing of the cancellation and are detailed on our website.
– No refunds are provided for cancellations within 7 days of the start or after a course or camp has commenced.
Modifications:
– Changes to the date or participant’s name for a booking may incur a CHF 20 administrative fee. Specific conditions for modifications are provided on our website.
Cancellation by BSA Soccer Academy:
– We reserve the right to cancel or modify programs due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternatives or refunds will be offered as detailed in our policies.
General Policies
Safety and Conduct:
– Participants must arrive and be picked up on time. Parents are responsible for the transportation and timely pickup of their children.
– BSA Soccer Academy is committed to the safety and well-being of all participants and reserves the right to remove any participant for inappropriate behavior or non-compliance with our sportsmanship standards.
Health and Fitness:
– Participants must be physically fit for active participation. Parents must disclose any relevant medical conditions of their children and may be asked to provide additional information.
Liability:
– BSA Soccer Academy does not accept liability for personal injuries or loss of/damage to personal property. We recommend that participants have appropriate insurance coverage.
Privacy and Media:
– By registering, parents grant BSA Soccer Academy the right to use photographs or video footage of events for promotional purposes unless explicitly refused in writing.
Jurisdiction:
– These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Geneva.
